Re: ID this Fish or Invert
I only knew it because I almost bought one from the local seafood market, and the kelp greenlings look very similar in body structure.
In my opinion this is a severely overlooked fish when it comes to home aquariums.

Re: ID this Fish or Invert
It would appear so, they look like a cool fish. I'll have to make a profile on it. Do you think you could take a couple of good pictures of one for me?
By the way, I think it's your turn now.

Re: ID this Fish or Invert
Indeed it is my turn.
I tried to get a good picture of something from my tank, but it wasn't cooperating. So I'll just host a couple photos I had already took earlier.
One fish , and one Invert for you all to ID
Hint on the fish, its a juvenile specimen, good luck

Yup both species from my coldwater tanks, both collected from the Oregon coast by myself.

Nope
This is a free swimming, schooling fish, photo I took is of a juvenile. It took me weeks to figure out what they were
I'll try and snap a more current photo of them in my new tank.

Re: ID this Fish or Invert
I updated the pics of the fish in my tank, they all ended up being out of focus.
So here's a picture of a slightly older one, hopefully this pic helps in the ID

Correct on both
Looks like you and I are going to have a battle of who can find the most obscure creatures from the Northeast Pacific
