Yeah. I see them in both the brook and estuary of the local beach, as well as in the ocean. o:

Nice. Of course there are two species: the three spine and six spine. I'm not sure if they are both equally flexible as far as salinity goes.

And I'm too lazy to google for it.
I'll just catch them from the ocean to be safe. Haha

Sounds good for the sake of the fish. I would hate to kill one on accident .

I can't imagine.
I'd feel so bad, especially since I collected it. x:
If I kill anything I'll really, really beat myself up over it knowing it probably would have survived if I left it alone.

I feel bad if I accidentally step on something when perusing tidepools.

No, just a girl . Lol jk. Let's not steal Jakes thread. I don't think he would appreciate it. Better yet, to count our randomness, he should post a new relevant update. .

Hey all! Sorry for my absence. So many sites, but I feel this is important.

Re: 15g Coldwater
Blood Stars can reach 13" you know. Those six-armed stars (leptasterias sp) however only reach 4".
Marine sticklebacks are anadromous, I believe. Also, those worms were probably necklace worms (pionosyllis sp).

I just went through this whole thread. Would love to see how your tank is doing & what new critters you may have collected.

Re: 15g Coldwater
The article states that he is using a 1/3 hp chiller. Is this really a 1/13? For $140, too -- that seems like a steal compared to what I've seen online.
